Perla Sanchez, 36 of Roby, completed her earthly journey and entered the eternal kingdom with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 2, 2019.
Born April 5, 1982, Perla was the daughter of Juan and Clara Sanchez. As a young child she and her family moved to Roby, Texas where they made their home and were adored, loved and embraced by the Fisher County community. Perla graduated from Roby High School in May 2001 and continued her education at Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree. Perla gave back to the community by teaching Spanish in Roby and Colorado City. She later worked at Roby Rural Health Clinic where she touched many more lives. She loved her church family and played an integral role teaching the young children and youth. She loved her kids, especially her precious nephews whom she adored. She was fierce, blunt, brave and courageous. Her tough love will never be forgotten. To know Perla was to love her. She was the salt of the Earth, a bright shining light that could not be hidden. Perla was someone who encouraged everyone she met. Her presence and attitude blessed and improved the lives of those she encountered. The love of God flowed through Perla. She has received her reward
."… Well done thy good and faithful servant. You have entered in the eternal joy of the Lord."
Her work here is completed. The angels have set her spirit free. She has taken flight.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving, godly parents, Juan and Clara Sanchez; sisters, Rosa and Lisa; brother, Johnny; two very special nephews, Audon and Noah, maternal grandmother, Trinidad Cruz Jimenez; paternal Grandparents, Paula and Jose Sanchez, and numerous family, friends and family in Christ.
