Obituary

Ace Paxton, a beloved son, was born on February 24, 2023, In Allen Texas, and departed the world far too soon on June 26, 2026. Though his time with us was heartbreakingly brief, Ace’s life was filled with boundless energy, and delight that left an unforgettable imprint on all that knew him.

From the very start, Ace captured hearts with his bright smile and uncontainable laughter. He and his momma were like two peas in a pod, always together taking on the world. He brought light in every room and inspired joy in those lucky enough to be with him. Ace’s love for animals was evident from his earliest days. Whether playing with his dog Beans, chasing his Aunt Brook’s cats, chasing Billy’s chickens, catching calves with his Momma, and chasing her with snakes and grasshoppers- Ace radiated pure adoration for all creatures great and small. He saw magic in the world around him. From going on adventures with his Momma and Aunt Brook late at night, to continuing at home with pillow fights and playing with his trucks.

Ace loved the outdoors and would play endlessly. From rummaging in the dirt to picking flowers for his Momma and Miss Brinda. Ace was always running around like he had somewhere to be, as far as his legs would carry him without a care in the world.

Ace’s imagination soared alongside his favorite characters. Piderman (Spider-Man), McMow (Mickey Mouse), Paw Troll (Paw Patrol), Blue (Bluey) and even watching the old western movies with his Grandpa Tommy. His love for music was even stronger, whether it was jamming to K-Pop, or dancing in the tractor to the radio. Every moment was filled with pure bliss.

He was never shy to indulge in his love for food. Finding merriment in every bite, covered head to toe asking for more. Ace savored each taste with a joy that was all his own.

Although Ace’s journey through life was brief, the love he gave and received was deep and immeasurable. His memory is cherished by those whose lives he brightened, and those who will hold the light of his spirit dear, and the warmth of his laughter.

As we remember Ace, our hearts ache for the moments that could have been. Yet, we also celebrate the beautiful moments he gifted us in his precious three years. Through his wonder, he taught us to delight in the little things, to laugh without hesitation, and to cherish the present.

Survived by his Momma, Aunt Brook, and Aunt Lex.

Family and friends are invited to remember and honor Ace’s extraordinary free spirit and the joy he brought to this world. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm on Monday, July 6, 2026 at Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home in Rotan, Texas. Service will be 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Calvary Baptist Church in Rotan.

Though he is gone too soon, Ace Paxton’s memory will forever shine in the hearts it touched and will continue to touch as he was able to give life with the donation of his heart.
