Angelina Flores Melena passed away on May 9, 2026 in Dallas, Texas surrounded by the same love she wrapped everyone in.
She has now joined her loving parents, Domingo and Maria Flores, her sister Rosa Flores, her brothers- Rudy, Andy and Lupe Flores.
She leaves behind her husband Juan Melena, her 3 kids and spouses Juan Melena Jr (Tavia) of Sweetwater, Laura Amador (Ralph), Erica Field (Kory) of Roby and her most proud possessions, her grandchildren- Cisco, Carly, Juan, and Chelsea Jimenez and Kaedyn and Kamryn Field, and Keith, Lowell and Texas Williams.
She has one Great granddaughter Nova Alfred and One Great Grandson on the way, Domingo Lois Jimenez. We know she was ready to give him all the love and spoiling too.
Her siblings, Delfina Flores (her very best friend), Ricardo Flores, Irene Escobar, Julia Hernandez and Ramiro Flores.
With numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved just as much as her own children.
One very special Aunt, Tecla Rangel of Hamlin, Texas.
Angelina was a wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend to many and a very special bonus grandma to all who she was around. All who knew her would tell you the same, she went above and beyond for everyone around her. She was a helper, a hard worker, she loved the outdoors. She loved to garden, loved all plants and flowers. The best cook we know. She loved chasing her kids and grandkids all over watching them play sports, taking them on trips, and making them a hot meal whenever they called her.
Angelina lived with a heart that never stopped giving. She touched countless lives, and she will be missed by so many. Her legacy is simple and powerful: love your people with your whole heart, show up for them, and keep your faith close. She was a momma whose love never wavered, and her memory will forever be a blessing to those she leaves behind.
Until we meet again, Mama.
