Ben Neeper

BEN EMMETT NEEPER, 91, of Roby, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016 in San Angelo, TX. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 2nd, 2016, at the First Baptist Church of Roby with Pastor Toby Irwin of San Angelo officiating. Burial with Masonic rites will follow in the Roby Cemetery under the direction of Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home.
Born November 8, 1924, in Willow, Arkansas, Ben was the son of Phillip and Margaret (Timberlake) Neeper. Ben was a World War II Navy Veteran. He was a retired farmer and a 32nd Degree Mason.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Margaret Neeper; brothers Havis, Maurice, Darrell, Loy and Jay; sisters; Janet and Evelyn; one son, Terry Gene Neeper; sister-in-laws, Doris, Betty, and Arlene; brother-in-laws, Whit and Royce; one son-in-law, Ronald Wright.
Ben is survived by his wife of 69 years, Pat; daughter, Barbara Wright of San Angelo; five grandchildren, Ben and Kathy Wright, Glory and Rob Thomas, Gene and Shelli Neeper, Britt and Sarah Wright and Genessa Neeper; great-grandchildren, Trisha and Randal Boone, Terry Wright, Gaitlin Neeper, Shelby Hurley, McKinsey Wright, Gauge Thomas, Greeley Neeper, and Slade Turnbow; great-great grandchild, Raylan Boone; and numerous other family and friends.
