Benny Warren

Sweetwater- Benny Roe Warren, 80, passed away Sunday night October 22, 2017. A graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 30, 2017, in Belvieu Cemetery, directed by Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home.
Benny was born February 26, 1937, in Dallas, TX. He was the son of the W.C. and Wilma Warren of Garland. Benny was a 1955 graduate of Garland High School and attended college at McMurry University in Abilene where he ran track. Benny retired from Exxon/Mobil and moved to Sweetwater to be closes to family. He attended Lighthouse Assembly of God Church. Benny enjoyed watching all types of sports.
Benny is preceded in death by his parent's, W.C. and Wilma Warren and his wife, Pasty Warren.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Shane and Kelly Hawkins of Sweetwater; four step children, Howard Mattil, Mark Mattil, April Mattil, and John Williams; many grandchildren including; Sarah Warren, Katy Warren Caballero, and Craig Mattil; and three great grandchildren.
