Bobbie Eaton

ROTAN- BOBBIE INEZ (NEELY) EATON, 86, passed away Monday, August 17, 2015, in Abilene, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2015, at the Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following at Belvieu Cemetery.
Born July 25, 1929, in Big Spring, Texas, Bobbie was the daughter of William H. and Pearl Jane (Dudley) Neely. A lifelong resident of Fisher County, she graduated from Rotan High School, and married Billy Joe Eaton at Rotan on October 18, 1947. Bobbie was a homemaker, and an excellent cook. In her spare time, Bobbie enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, reading, playing bingo, and attending her grandson's sporting events.
Bobbie is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Billy Joe Eaton; her daughter, Linda Sue Eaton; her parents, William and Pearl Neely; and her brother, Albert Neely.
She is survived by one daughter, Cindy Gardner and husband, Ronnie, of Abilene; two grandsons, Eric Gardner of Abilene, and David Gardner and wife, Stacey, of Houston; and four great-grandchildren, Jacob, Logan Elizabeth, Ethan, and Devin.
