ROTAN CARMEN ANGELINA QUINTANILLA, 78, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at Abilene. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow at Belvieu Cemetery. Rosary with a brief service will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday at WeathersbeeRay Funeral Home.
Angelina was born July 16, 1934 to Rafael and Carmen Soliz Quintanilla in Rotan. She was raised in Rotan and moved to Abilene in 1964. She worked hard when she was younger without complaint and was often singing. Angelina loved playing Bingo, shopping and going out to eat. She was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church. Angelina is preceded in death by her parents, brother Roberto Quintanilla and two sisters Lupita Quintanilla and Maria Soliz.
Angelina is survived by two sisters, Celia Rodriquez of Abilene and Juanita Ortega of Mineral Wells and numerous nieces and nephews. .
