Cleo Davis

Cleo was the daughter of the late Lon Perry L.P. Henderson, Sr. and Lorene Rucker Henderson. Cleo graduated from Hobbs High School and attended college in California. She married Harvie Lee Davis on June 23, 1944 in Roby. Cleo lived numerous places throughout her life, Rapid City, SD, for seven and half years, Sacramento, CA, for three and half years, Massachusetts for three to four years and Turkey for two and half years finally moving back to Claytonville, TX in 1970. She was a homemaker, a member of the Fisher County Historical Society, she enjoyed quilting and was an avid reader. Cleo was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hermleigh. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband in 2012, and one brother Lon Perry Henderson, Jr.
Cleo is survived by her two daughters and sonsinlaw, Kathy and Russell Gee of Arlington, TX, and Barbara and Leslie Wortman of Humble, TX two grandchildren, Christopher Gee and Tammy Wortman three brothers and two sistersinlaw, John W. and Sue Henderson of Denver, Harold Henderson of Oklahoma, and Ed and Joyce Henderson of Mesquite, TX. .
