Dan Gallagher

Dan was a son of the late Edith Imogene Jones and James Albert Gallagher. After high school Dan served in the Army National Guard for twelve years from 19551967. He married Evelyn Higgs in Snyder, TX on March 28, 1981. Dan retired as a buyer for Mobile Oil after thirtysix years and began to enjoy hobbies like, fishing, gardening , working in his yard, and different projects around the house. He was a Master Mason for fifty years and a Knight Commander of the Court of Honor for the Scottish Rite KCCH. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. Dan was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jayton. He is preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, Jette Lee Gallagher, Mozelle Wade, Maxine Wade, and Jonelle Brandon, and two brothers Buddy and Billy Gallagher.
Dan is survived by his wife Evelyn Gallagher two daughters and sonsinlaw, Dana and Dwayne Weaver of Dallas and Teresa and Tate Kesner of Dallas three stepsons , Harley Deihl and his wife Marita of FL, Howard Deihl of Dallas, and Harold Deihl and his wife Dovie of Dallas his stepdaughter, Cindy Ledesma of Dallas twelve grandchildren, and three greatgrandchildren.
