David White

ROTAN- DAVID FRANKLIN WHITE, 64, passed away Friday, March 13, 2015, in Rotan. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at the Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following at Belvieu Cemetery, directed by Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home.
Born December 30, 1950, at the Callan Hospital in Rotan, David was the son of Arthur L. and Wanda (Gabel) White. He graduated from Rotan High School in the class of 1969, and married Judy Pearl Sharp on March 1, 1975. A lifelong resident of Rotan, he worked for National Gypsum for thirty-one years as a licensed electrician, and served as a deacon at the First Baptist Church of Rotan. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting quail, and shooting skeet.
He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur L. White.
David is survived by his wife of 40 years, Judy White; two daughters, Eleshia Rivers and husband, Jamie, of Lawn, and Amber Cave and husband, Jeff, of Ballinger; his mother, Wanda White of Rotan; one brother, Michael White and wife, Laura, of Florence; two sisters, Connie McQueen and husband, Donald, of Rotan, and Sherry Armstrong and husband, Oscar, of Stamford; and five grandchildren, Taylor Rivers, Isabella Rivers, Cole Cave, Mason Cave, and Evan Cave.
