George Gonzalez

Rotan- George Luis Gonzalez 60, passed away June 7, 2016, in Fisher County. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2016, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ozona, TX. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, directed by Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home of Rotan. Rosary will be 6:00 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2016, at Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home Chapel in Rotan.
Born March 10, 1956, in Rotan, George was the son of Eugene and Gregoria (Rodriquez) Gonzalez. He graduated from high school and received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Angelo State University. George worked as an LVN for many years at Shannon Medical Center. He enjoyed woodworking, reading, and working with stained glass.
George is preceded in death by his wife (Teresa Gonzalez).
Survivors include one son, Sergio Nicolas, and his wife, Jennifer Gonzalez; two daughters, Anna Maria Gonzalez and Katherine Gonzalez; one brother and sister-in-law, Carlos and Amelia Gonzalez; one granddaughter, Avery Gonzalez; and several nieces and nephews.
