Jimmy Lawrence

JIMMY DON LAWRENCE, 56, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015, surrounded by his family at an Abilene hospital. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 29, 2015, at Belvieu Cemetery in Rotan, directed by Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home.
Born August 16, 1958, in Odessa, Jimmy was the son of the late Joe Don and Patsy (Blount) Lawrence. He graduated from Odessa High School, and worked as a machinist in Odessa for many years. In 2013, he moved to Rotan to be closer to his family. Jimmy was a Methodist, and enjoyed computers.
He is preceded in death by his father, Joe Don Lawrence.
He is survived by his mother, Patsy Lawrence of Rotan; one son, Jeremy Dale Lawrence of Lubbock; one daughter, Christina Andrews of Houston; two sisters, Sharon Dooney of Holliday and Shirley Griffice and husband, Mike, of Odessa; and two grandchildren, Riley and Elly Lawrence.
