John D. Williams, born January 19, 1942, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2026, at his home in Clinton, Arkansas, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, family, and love that will continue through the many lives he touched.

John was a hardworking and skilled man who took great pride in providing for his family and building a life through his own determination. Throughout his career, he worked as a welder and truck driver, and his entrepreneurial spirit led him to own and operate his own welding shop as well as his own service station. He was a man who knew the value of hard work and was never afraid to put his hands to work to accomplish what needed to be done.

In his free time, John enjoyed playing Wahoo, bingo, and dominoes, as well as trying his luck with scratch-offs and slot machines. These hobbies brought him enjoyment and created many cherished memories with family and friends.

John’s greatest legacy, however, was his family. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his daughter, Dayla Kitchens; his son, Kevin Williams, and daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Williams; his sister, Rosie Price; 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Anne; his brother, T.F. Williams; and his daughter, Dorinda Vickers.

John’s life was defined not only by the work he accomplished, but by the family he built and the memories he leaves behind. His strength, determination, and the lessons he shared will live on in his children, grandchildren, and generations to come.

Though he is no longer with us, his memory will remain in the hearts of those who loved him. His life was a gift, his memory a treasure, and his legacy will continue through his family for generations to come.

Rest in peace, John D. Williams. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
