Lee Ann Riggs

February 11, 1981 — February 21, 2026

McCaulley, Texas

Lee Ann was born on February 11, 1981, to Billie Smith and David Riggs. She was a beautiful firecracker of a soul and a down-home country girl through and through. She loved deeply and gave with her whole heart, finding beauty in the world around her and sharing it with others.

Whether she was painting or carefully decorating her home, her creative spirit brightened every room she entered.

Her home was filled with the life she loved, including her loyal dog, Maggie, and her beloved geese and chickens. But the greatest joy and the true light of Lee Ann’s life were her children and grandchildren.

She leaves behind her three sons, Brenson Riggs, Briley Polk and his wife Larissa Manning, Ashton Polk and his wife Jewel Pineda; and her three grandsons, Cedar Gonzalez Polk, Elijah Polk, and Trent Polk, all of whom she adored beyond measure.

In addition to her children and grandchildren, she is survived by her mother, Billie Smith and her life partner Robert Fincher; her father, David Riggs; her sisters, Amy Banes and her Husband Steven Banes and Lauren Olmstead and her Husband Geoffrey Olmstead; and her brother, Brannon Tabb. She also leaves behind an extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, along with friends in great numbers who will miss her vibrant spirit dearly.

She was preceded in death by her grand parents John and Frances Smith and Helen and Earnest Riggs and her sister Olivia Brown.

In accordance with her wishes, Lee Ann will be cremated. Her family will later fulfill her final request by scattering her ashes in McCaulley—the city that stole her heart and a place like no other.
