November 4, 1958 — February 22, 2012

ROTAN LEE SCOTT SMITH, 53, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at his residence in southern Fisher County. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the First Baptist Church under the ion of WeathersbeeRay Funeral Home. Burial will be private. His family will have visitation 6:00 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Lee Scott was born November 4, 1958 to Bobby D. and Joyce Hargrove Smith in Rotan. He graduated from Rotan High School in 1977 and attended San Angelo State University Reserved seating will be available for his classmates at the funeral. Lee Scott married Barbara Ann Fried on December 23, 1994 at his parent39s house in Rotan. He was a farmer and lifelong resident of Fisher County. Lee Scott loved riding motorcycles, target shooting and listening to music. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rotan. Lee Scott is preceded in death by his grandparents, an uncle Mack Hargrove and an aunt Janie Mason.

Lee Scott is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Smith two sons and daughterinlaw, Jason and Amanda Forque of Alvin, Texas and Corey Collins of Abilene two daughters and their fiance39s, Toni Collins and L.J. Nitsch and Lindsey Collins and Justin Davis three grandchildren, Ethan Forque, Gage Forque and Maylee Collins parents, Bobby D. and Joyce Smith motherinlaw, Faye Franks two sisters and brotherinlaw, Charre Smith and Jana and Robert Morales aunts and uncles, Violet Upshaw, Carol Justiss and Alton and LaDoska Smith numerous nieces, nephews and his two dogs, Rico and Rowdy.
