Leola Mae "Lee" (McCutchan) Kincaid

Leola Mae "Lee" (McCutchan) Kincaid, 91, quietly passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017 in Kingsland, TX. She was born in 1925 west of the Sardis Community in Fisher County Texas to Charlie Francis McCutchan and Naomi Alice (Campbell) McCutchan.
As a young child, the family moved to the Plains south of Lubbock. When she was eleven, the family moved back to Fisher County living just south of the Hobbs Community. She attended Hobbs School.
She met Windle Kincaid at a church social at the Hobbs Baptist Church. They were married November 18, 1948 in the First Baptist Church Parsonage in Rotan. She was active in all church activities. In 1968, the family moved to Rotan and joined the First Baptist Church where Lee continued her church work. Following retirement in 2000, Lee and Windle moved to Lake Buchanan, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her father in 1953, her mother in 1956, and a younger sister Neta McCutchan Hinds Starnes in 2000.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years Windle, of Lake Buchanan, TX; a son, Ronnie and wife Gina of Abilene; a daughter, Jan Solsbery and husband Jim Bob of San Angelo; a sister, Thelma McGaha, of Odessa; three grandchildren: Zach Kincaid and wife Kyla of Wylie, TX; Cade Solsbery and wife Megan of San Angelo; Megan (Kincaid) Dill and husband Evan of North Richland Hills, TX; six great grandchildren: Bri, Kimma, and Nate Kincaid of Wylie; and Kenzie, Maddie, and Waylon Solsbery of San Angelo; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Lee was an excellent cook and seamstress.
Service will be held Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Rotan, TX at 2:00 p.m. The family will be receiving visitors Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the Weathersby-Ray funeral home.
