February 25, 1937 — January 31, 2018

Londa Branson, 80, of Roby passed away January 31, 2018, in Weatherford. Funeral services will be held at 10am, Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Roby First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Roby Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, February 2, 2018, from 6pm until 8pm, at Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home.
Londa Bea Stuart Branson was born February 25, 1937 in Roby, to Leonard Luveal (Chine) Stuart and Londa Pearl (Coney) Stuart. Londa was a 1955 graduate of Roby High School. She was a natural athlete and loved playing high school basketball. She married the love of her life, John Branson, on April 10, 1954 in Roscoe, TX. Family was the most important thing in Londa's life; she was their rock and refuge. Londa was a naturally shy and modest person but her caring and compassionate nature always came to the forefront to help anyone in need. Londa was an unselfish and generous woman and saw that the needs of others were always met before her own. Londa had a strong moral compass, valuing what was right instead of what was easy; genuine and incapable of being anything other than herself. She enjoyed life's simple pleasures and felt most at home wearing her blue jeans and a t-shirt. Londa had her "15 minutes of fame" when she and her son were featured on an episode of the History Chanel show "American Restoration". On the show, she and David were having an antique sharpening wheel restored. Londa loved being outdoors, especially when it involved working in her garden. She and her brother, Scooter, liked to tease each other on who could grow the best tomatoes. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her and loved her.
Londa was preceded in death by her parents, Chine and Londa Stuart; her brother, Richard Stuart; grandson, Tanner Seedig; and her niece, Christy Hudnall.
She is survived by her loving husband, John Branson; her son, David Branson and wife Jenny; her daughter, Kittye Seedig and husband Connis; her brother Jerry "Scooter" Stuart and wife Linda; grandchildren, Blake Bedinger and wife Heather, Rachel Bedinger and fiancé Bryan Menke, and Tyler Seedig; great-grandchild Helen Bea Bedinger and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Roby Cemetery Association or the American Alzheimer's Association.
