Loretta Bilbo Daniel, born on December 16, 1938, in Graham, Texas, left this world peacefully on March 5, 2026, at the age of 87. She was a beloved figure whose warmth and spirit touched the lives of many. Loretta spent many years working as an insurance agent for American National, where she built a successful career helping others protect what mattered most to them. Her dedication and hard work earned her numerous national awards and opportunities to travel around the world. Her early professional experiences included working at a grocery store and selling Avon and Mary Kay, showcasing her salesmanship.

As the oldest of six children, Loretta played a vital role in her family's upbringing, helping to raise her siblings with love and care. Family was always at the core of her being, and her relationships with her children and grandchildren were among her proudest accomplishments.

Loretta shared a close, loving bond with Debbie and Terry, and she also cherished Squatty and Ella Rae Helms as if they were her own children. She cared deeply for all of them, providing guidance, support, and the unwavering presence of a mother’s love throughout their lives.

Loretta had a special bond with her first grandchild, Traci Heflin. From the time Traci was born until she entered her teenage years, Fridays were reserved for special nights spent with her grandparents. Those evenings became a treasured tradition filled with love, laughter, and memories that will always be held close.

She also shared a special bond with Michael, Kevin and Whitney, helping to raise and care for them during their younger years. She spent many cherished hours babysitting them and being an important part of their childhood. Loretta lovingly taught Michael how to two-step and was always available to scratch his back. She also passed on her love of crafting and painting to Whitney and alongside Toad, they introduced Kevin to the joys of the lake and fishing. These experiences created lasting memories and a deep connection that they will always carry with them.

Loretta’s legacy is carried on by her loving family: her daughter Debbie Hull, her son Terry Daniel, her grandchildren Traci Heflin, Michael Hull (Natalie), Kevin Daniel (Stevie), and Whitney Helms Kirby (Dylan), her cherished great-grandchildren Michael Luke Hull, Tyler Anglin, Jason Daniel, and Tripp Daniel,

her brother Eddie Bilbo and her sister in laws Patricia Bilbo and Becky Bilbo and numerous nieces and nephews.

Loretta was preceded in death by her husband, Baxter ‘Toad’ Daniel, her parents, Troy and Nona Bilbo, her siblings Jimmy Bilbo, Kenneth Bilbo, Donald Bilbo, and Linda Bilbo and her son-in-law Mike Hull. Her absence will echo in the hearts of all who knew her, but her spirit will forever be celebrated.
