Eugene was a son the late Raymond Eugene, Sr. and Eva Juanita Koen McKimmey. Eugene was a lifelong resident of Rotan and graduated from Rotan High School in 1973. He attended Cisco Junior College and graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in Ag Economics. Eugene farmed with his brother Koen until retiring in 2002. He liked roping cattle, flying and visiting with friends. Eugene was a member of the Rotan Flying Club and a member of the Primative Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Eugene is survived by his brother and sisterinlaw, Koen and Sherry McKimmey of Rotan and niece, Christy Agnew and her husband Ricky two greatnieces, Addison and Ashley Agnew and a goddaughter, Morgan Spires Brandon. .
