Rebecca Burk

Becky was born in Rotan, Texas to the late Bernadine Johnson and Richard Brownlee.
She was a proud Jayton Jaybird, class of 1974. Becky and Vick Burk were married January 3, 1975. She worked for the city of Bryan and Texas AM University while her husband attended veterinary school.
Becky was a longtime employee of Rotan Insurance Agency until MS prevented her from working anymore. She was a dedicated 4H volunteer leader and helped with Fisher County Fair Activities. She was also a long term member of the First United Methodist Church of Rotan. She dearly loved her kids, grandkids, cats, and friends.
People always commented on her striking blue eyes, pretty smile, and sassy attitude.
Becky is survived by her dedicated husband of 40 years, Dr. Vick Burk, daughter Melissa and soninlaw Dr. Hameed Ali of Temple with a grandson due in May, daughter Shelley and soninlaw Richard Jackson and grandchildren, Will and Aubrey of Houston, two brothers, Charles Miller and wife Denise and Earl Brownlee and Cheryl Salisbury, a brotherinlaw Dan Burk and wife Dana, and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and several special friends.
