Robert Phillips

Robert Silas Phillips, 87, of Rotan passed away peacefully on June 23, 2023.

Robert was born January 29, 1936 in Rotan, Texas to the late William Guy Phillips and Mary Viola (Yantis) Phillips. Robert grew up on the family farm just outside Rotan. He attended school in Rotan and graduated in 1955. Robert enlisted in the United States Army in 1960 and served seven years active duty and eleven years as a reservist. Robert and Frankie moved to Colorado in 1968 and he was in the financial business until 1982 at which time he bought a jewelry store. He owned and operated the jewelry store until 2003 at which time Robert and Frankie retired and moved back to Rotan.

Robert attended the Church of Christ and was a faithful Christian.

Robert is survived by the love of his life, Frankie Lee (Ocken) Phillips, daughter, Brinda Phillips of Rotan, son Scott Phillips of Greeley, Colorado, granddaughter, Holly (Ryan) of Johnstown, Colorado, grandson, Carson of Greeley, Colorado, Caden of Greeley, Colorado, and two great grandsons. He also leaves behind many special friends.
