Sam Ramirez

Sam Ramirez, 55, passed away Sunday August 20, 2023. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Friday, August 25,2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Rotan with burial to follow in Belvieu Cemetery. Rosary will be at 6:00 PM Thursday, August 24, 2023 at the Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home Chapel.

Sam loved the Rotan Yellowhammers and the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. Sam loved going to football, basketball, baseball, and softball games. His favorite drink was Coca Cola! Sam was loved dearly and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence, and Josie Ramirez.

Sam is survived by two sisters, Melba (Mark) Acosta, and Pat (Abe) Saenz; two brothers, Larry (Cindy) Ramirez and Fabian Ramirez; and many nephews, nieces, and friends.
