ROBYSTELLA MAE CLEVELAND MASH, 89, died Wednesday January 18, 2012 at an Abilene hospital. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday January 20, 2012 at WeathesrbeeRay Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Roby Cemetery under the ion of WeathersbeeRay Funeral Home.
Born March 11, 1922 in Fisher County, Stella was a daughter of the late Samuel quotSamquot D. and Stella Moize Cleveland. Stella was a lifelong resident of Fisher County. She graduated from Dowell High School and married Joyce quotJackquot Lynn Mash on May 17, 1940 in Rotan. Stella was a rural mail carrier for twenty years and a member of both the Eastern Star and Home Demonstration Club. She liked to sew, embroider, and collect dolls. Stella was a member of the First Baptist Church of Roby. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter Helen Mitchell, one infant son Jack Lynn Mash, a soninlaw Sam Huffman and six brothers and sisters Bessie Cleveland, Annis Joplin, Eugene Cleveland, Lewis Cleveland, Norman Cleveland and Dalton Cleveland.
Stella is survived by her son and daughterinlaw, Jerry and Cathy Mash of Abilene four daughters and three sonsinlaw, Barbara and Johnny Justiss of Roby, Ellaoise and Don Grubbs of Sweetwater, Judy and Charles Doty of Sweetwater and Cinda quotCindyquot Huffman of Sweetwater two brothers and sistersinlaw, William and Sue Cleveland of Rotan and John and Lora Cleveland of Roby one sister, Ruth Riddels of Lewisville twelve grandchildren, Kay Ryan, Glenda Marrs, Darrel Doty, Derrick Doty, Shawn Justiss, Alicea Mitchell, Julie Munoz, Patrick Justiss, Sam Justiss, Jennifer Sessum, Cara Mash and Joseph Mash and twentytwo greatgrandchildren. .
