Ty Justin West, 39, passed away March 2, 2019. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at the Pickwick-McAdams Cemetery in Palo Pinto County. Visitation will be 5 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2019, at Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home in Rotan.
Born November 22, 1979, Ty was the son of Gary and Tempie West. He graduated from Roby High School in 1998. Ty loved being a cowboy and worked on numerous ranches, sale barns and was currently working at Scherwitz Farms. He loved working in the garden and supplying his neighbors with produce. He never failed to bring positive energy during hard times. Ty had an infectious sense of humor no matter the circumstances. He was always willing to help anyone in need of a hand or just a big old hug.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Delbert and Ruby Bridges and Ike and Alfa West; aunts, Baby Sister, Thelma Bridges Kimbrell, and Evelyn Musgrave.
He is survived by his wife, Brook; one son, Kyler; two daughters, Kadee and Sara; his parents Gary and Tempie West; Aunts and Uncles, Travis and Kaylynn Bridges and Fern and Russ Arendell; numerous cousins, Lucas bridges, Eli Bridges and wife, Emily and their daughter Emma, Giesela Monroe and Alan, Russell and Sally Arendell; and numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
