Ysabel Almanza

Ysabel Almanza, 72, of Rotan, passed away Monday, June 26, 2017, in Rotan. The funeral mass is scheduled for 10am, Saturday, July 1, 2017, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, in Rotan. Burial will follow in Belvieu Cemetery. Visitation and rosary services will be held from 6pm until 8pm, Friday, June 30, 2017, at Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home. Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ysabel Ramon Almanza was born January 28, 1945, to Serapio and Otila (Ramon) Almanza, in Rotan, TX. He married Rosa Soliz on June 16, 1968, in Roby, TX. Ysabel was a very hard working man, and had been from a very early age. He enjoyed woodworking, carpentry, and gardening. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren and going to their various activities. Ysabel was a loving husband, father, son, uncle and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
Ysabel is preceded in death by his parents, Serapio and Otila Almanza; his son, Ysabel Almanza, Jr.; sisters, Chona Santibanez and Juanita Sosa; brothers, George Almanza and Gustavo Almanza.
Ysabel is survived by his loving wife, Rosa Almanza of Rotan, TX; sons, Joe Almanza and wife, Belinda, of Gladewater, TX and Henry Almanza and wife, Yvette, of San Angelo, TX; grandchildren, Patrick Almanza and wife, Louise, of Xenia, OH, Payton Almanza of San Diego, CA, Calli Almanza of Gladewater, TX, Marrissa Almanza of San Angelo, TX, Alex Almanza of San Angelo, TX and Anna Almanza of San Angelo, TX; his sister, Alice Grimaldo and husband, Daniel, of Sweetwater, TX; brothers, Andrew Almanza and wife, Minnie, of Rotan, TX, Johnny Almanza and wife, Tina, of Rotan, Thomas Almanza and wife, Joyce, of Mineral Wells and Cipriano Almanza of Rotan.
