Rotan-Bonnie Louise Floyd, 89, passed away January 30, 2020, in Sweetwater.  Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 3, 2020 at Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will be in Belvieu cemetery, under the direction of Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home.

Born April 23, 1930, in Fisher County, Bonnie was born to Nelson Andrew and Vada (Plemons) Putman.  She married the love of her life Garland (Soapy) Floyd on June 27, 1953 and they had one son, Larry.  Bonnie was very involved in her community. She was a member of the Fisher County singing group, Ladies Fireman Auxiliary, and a song leader at church.  Bonnie ministered to her community by making homemade pies to give away.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, (Larry Floyd); one sister and brother-in-law (Altha and David Gene Adams); one brother and sister-in-law, (James Horace and Cynthia Putnam); one brother-in-law, Jackie Williams; and one niece (Darlene Putnam).

Survivors include one sister, Billie Williams and numerous nieces and nephews.
