Eustolia Miranda

Visitation services and Rosary for Mrs. Eustolia Miranda, 91, of Roby will be at 5 pm, Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home in Rotan, Tx. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, May 19, 2023, at Iglesia Bautista Calvario in Roby, Texas, with burial following at the Roby Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home in Rotan, Texas.

Mrs. Miranda passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023, in Abilene, Texas Eustolia Morales de Miranda was born to Esteban Morales and Guadalupe Avila on November 6, 1931, in El Encinal, Durango, Mexico. She married the love of her life, Lazaro Miranda, on February 28, 1953, and began raising their family near Rotan. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was also an honorary mother to two of her grandsons, Timothy, and Nicholas. Eustolia was a woman of deep faith and lead her family by example. Lazaro preceded her in death in 2015. In her spare time, she enjoyed visiting family in surrounding areas, attending church, sitting outside on the porch, and hanging out with her best friend Josefina Flores. She was a life-long resident of Fisher County, and a member of Iglesia Bautista Calvario.

Eustolia is preceded in death by her parents, Esteban Morales, and Guadalupe Avila; her brothers, Pedro Morales and Francisco Morales; her sisters, Pascuala Villarreal and Elpidia Ortiz; her granddaughter, Gladys Lechuga; her grandson, Emidio Lechuga; her granddaughter, Victoria Leslie Miranda; her great grandson, Juan Diego Palacios; her great granddaughter, Miranda Fey Palacios, and her son-in-law, Ramon Guerra.

She is survived by two sons, Frank Miranda and wife, Lydia, of Rotan, and Lazaro Miranda, Jr. and wife, Kandi, of Munday; four daughters, Irma Guerra of Roby, Bertha Cortez and husband, Abel, of Chicago, Illinois, Hilda Duchi and husband, Marco, of Arlington, and Elva Lechuga and husband, Eduardo, of Garden Grove, California; one sister, Maria Sanchez; twenty grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
