Johnnie Gallagher

Johnnie “Evelyn” Gallagher, age 82, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 10, 2022.  She was born in New Hebron, Mississippi where she lived with her parents and siblings throughout her childhood and teenage years.  Then she became a Texas girl and spent the rest of her life around family and friends where she became a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Dan, her parents Irene and Johnnie, her sisters Shirley and Sally, and her brother George.

She is survived by her brother Jerry, her children: Harley and his wife Marida, Cindy, Howard, Harold and his wife Dovie, Dana and her husband Dwayne, Teresa, and her husband Tate; grandchildren Harvey, Alyssa, Nadia, Howard Jr, Christopher, Laura, Mary, John, Amanda, Adam, Danielle, Trista; plus, fifteen great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.

Services will be held 10:00am, Friday, October 14, 2022 at Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home, 111 N McKinley Ave, Rotan, TX.  Graveside immediately following at Jayton Cemetery.
