Josephine Ramirez

Josephine Ramirez age 81, of Rotan, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021, at her home. There was a private family Rosary on October 5 and a Mass October 6. Burial followed in the Belvieu Cemetery of Rotan. Services were directed by Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home.

Josephine was born on October 21, 1939, in Sheridan, Wyoming to Jerry and Anita Jordan. She was married to the late Lorenzo Ramirez, and together they raised five children. Josephine loved gardening, sewing, and listening to music. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Lorenzo Ramirez.

Josephine is survived by two daughters, Melba and husband Mark Acosta, and Patricia and husband Abe Saenz; three sons,  Larry and wife Cindy Ramirez, Sam Ramirez, and Fabian Ramirez; grandchildren, Alyssa, Chico, Adrianna, Cassie, Lorenzo, Matthew, A.J., and Ethan; great grandchildren, Mikayla, Mikenly, Trey, Mikenna, Jessie, Olivia, Jayden, Jackson, and Amani
