Lonnie Delona Cox passed away December 26, 2022. Services will be 11:00 am on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at the Roby First Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Roby Cemetery. There will be a visitation before the services starting at 10:00 am at the church. Services will be directed by Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home.

Delona was born on October 30, 1942 in Boston Massachusetts. She attended school in Rotan, Texas. Delona was married to Jack Cox for fifty-nine years. She enjoyed reading, antique shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Delona was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Cox; mother, Oma Lois Lee; and grandparents, Lon, and Virgie Weems.

She is survived by one daughter, Michele Goodwin (Greg) of Canton; one son, Denny Cox of Roby; three grandchildren, Brady Goodwin (Aimee)  of Farmers Branch, Justin Cox (Carlee) of Lubbock, and Tayler Cox (fiancée, P.J. Spring) of Sweetwater; and five great grandchildren, Hans, Boaz and Elowen Goodwin of Farmers Branch, Cora Cox of Lubbock, and Hayden Lee Cox of Sweetwater.
