Rhonda Seymour

Rhonda Bob (Kelley) Seymour, 73, of Rotan, Texas died Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Hendrick Hospice Care in Abilene, Texas.

A memorial service for Rhonda will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church in Rotan with Byron Shelley officiating.

Rhonda was born September 18, 1949, in Rotan, to Steve and Raye Kelley. She was married to Mitch Seymour. Rhonda worked at Southwestern Bell in the 60’s. She was what she referred to as a “call girl.” She was the operator on the other end of the line when you dialed “0” to make your long-distance call. She was also a correctional officer at Women’s Prison in Gatesville. She loved getting together with her family and extended family every year at Bluff Dale. She was the Secretary/Treasurer for the Belvieu Cemetery Association.

She is survived by her husband, Mitch Seymour; sister-in-law, Nathalie Kelley, and sister-in-law, Scharles Kelley; five nephew, Erick Lewis and his wife, Amy, Joshua Kelley, Stephen Kelley, Tanner Kelley, and Paxton Kelley

She was preceded in death by her parents, Steve, and Raye Kelley; and two brothers, Joe, and Jim Kelley.
