Troy Bruce Randolph passed from this life August 6, 2020 at the age of 78. He was born in Snyder, Texas on March 14, 1942. He and his family lived in the Polar Community for many years. Troy, known as Bruce while growing up, graduated from Rotan High School in 1960.He joined the U.S. Army where he was a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division. After returning from the military he worked at Weathersbee Funeral Home. Later he drove for Brazos Trucking and was a retired Correctional officer for the State of Texas.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Zed Carlton Randolph and Maudie Ramage Randolph of Rotan, and by a grandson, Taylor Oakland.

Bruce is survived by; one son, Randall Randolph of Big Spring; one daughter, Heather Cannon and husband Greg; one granddaughter, Griffin Darling Cannon of Oklahoma City; one sister, Beverly Landes and husband Larry as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

A special thank you to Fisher County Hospital and staff for their competent and compassionate care and to Lamun-Lusk-Sanchez Texas State Home for Veterans for treating him with respect and dignity and for loving him for the last two years.

A private service will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2020 in Rotan.
